As children are the seeds of humanity and its future, these Amazonian seeds are the children of the future of the world's largest rainforest. Prayers are made to the trees, and tobacco is offered to the tree spirit guardians for allowing a few seeds from each tree being to be used in this jewelery. The seeds are never taken directly from the trees themselves, but from the forest floor.
Huayruro Macho: These are the "male seeds" of the Huayruro tree, known in Shipibo as Shepos Bene. It has been used, as have the other seeds, by Shamans for thousands of years, and each species has its own assistive power. In the case of the Huayruru Bene, it protects the wearer from negative energy and promotes a peaceful mind, body, heart, and soul. Being very prolific, it also brings abundance if so desired.
Huayruro Hembra: This is the "female seed", whose Shipibo name is Shepos Ahuin. It has the same properties as the Shepos Bene, with more of a feminine energy.
Choloke: These large black seeds, slightly smaller than a macadamia nut, are called Yamirena in Shipibo. They protect the wearer from negative energy, acting like a protective shield.
Achira: These seeds, known as Mancian in Shipibo, are the size of a popcorn kernel, are the most powerful of the seeds. They paralyze, and destroy all forms of negative energy.
These seeds are called Pona, or Shino Bero in Shipibo. They come from the Chonta tree, whose wood is used to make bows, arrow shafts, and rattle stems. Due to its strength and hardness, it imparts strength and shielding to the wearer.
Chu-chu is the name of this seed. It is a variety of Pona, just different in shape. Same energetic properties as Pona.
